Sadie is a black and tan, purebred female bloodhound, approximately three years old, who was picked up as a stray in SC after being hit by a car. Her broken leg has healed but she is visually impaired, probably as a result of the accident. It takes a bit longer for her to get used to a new environment and other dogs, but once she settles in she has no problems at all. She is quite smart and trains easily. She loves all people immediately and is very affectionate. She loves squeak toys and playing "chase me" with her older bloodhound foster brother. She is housebroken, crate trained, trained to an invisible fence and does well with cats (though she's still learning not to play too rough with them). She is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative. She would not be recommended for households with small children because of her vision problem. Sadie is a beautiful, sweet girl, and she’ll make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. She’s being fostered in North Carolina.
